Can Acupuncture & Chinese Herbal Medicine Help Sinus Issues?
Sinus issues affect a lot of us whether it's hay fever, a blocked nose, post nasal drip, sinus headache or pain. Chinese medicine has evolved acupuncture and herbal medicine treatments over 1000's of years to help manage a wide range of symptoms and treat underlying issues.
Acupuncture can be used to get symptom relief from pain and congestion, sometimes within the first treatment, with needles generally placed below the elbows and knees for your comfort.
Herbal medicine is often taken twice daily to help with both symptom relief, and from a Chinese medicine point of view, to strengthen the body and help it be more resilient in the future. Each case is different from person to person so the herbs and acupuncture points used are tailored to the individual and change throughout the course of treatment as people and symptoms improve.
Other common side effects of a blocked nose include snoring poor sleep quality, neck and jaw tension, red and itchy eyes, as well as generally feeling tired and heavy.
If you come to Village Remedies we will be looking to not only help you breathe easier, but also improve sleep energy and improve any neck or jaw related tension.
