CHINESE MEDICINE LIFESTYLE TIPS FOR
BETTER IMMUNITY DURING WINTER
- Be mindful to avoid exposure to frequent drastic temperature changes - i.e. going from very cold outside to overly heated inside.
- Dress warmly, in particular protecting the back of the neck from cold wind and the soles of the feet from cold floors - i.e. wear a scarf outside and slippers if you have cold floors at home.
- Keep warm internally by consuming more soups, stews and warm drinks. Avoid cold drinks and food, and limit the amount of raw food.
- Pay attention to your body. Winter is the time of hibernation in nature so it's natural to do less intense forms of exercise and to want more sleep.
